We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies, automate deployments, and enhance cloud operations, supporting our development teams in delivering high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your tasks
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments 

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform service deployments

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth and efficient deployments

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to enhance availability and reliability

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize workflows and troubleshoot issues 

  • Ensure security and compliance across all cloud operations and environments

  • Create and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployments 

  • Document technical processes and decisions clearly for effective communication 

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer with a history of successful projects

  • Expertise in public cloud platforms, preferably Azure/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or AWS/Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, ideally Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform

  • Strong understanding of GitOps principles, with experience in ArgoCD being a plus

  • Experience using Helm for Kubernetes package management  

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker

  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) to maintain system performance and reliability

  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus
